Make sure to register, THEN RESPOND TO THE EMAIL THAT GETS SENT TO YOUR EMAIL ACCOUNT, or your posts won't get published right away.

The menu is now redesigned, so that "Create a new account" appears on the top menu of any and all pages (directly to the right of "about") for all who are not signed in. Hopefully that will help those who are trying to create accounts from pages within the site, not just the home page.
