Hello to all of you! I wanted to follow up on this week's meeting with some information:
Please don't forget that next week's seminar is on THURSDAY NIGHT not Tuesday night. Same time. I will be talking about task distribution as well as some specific types of anger...big topics for many of you.
One person in the Q&A talked about how depressing it has been to learn more about ADHD, and I suggested some resources to help find the positive aspects of ADHD, as well. All of these resources recognize the struggle, while providing positive support:
- Tamara Rosier's book Your Brain's Not Broken provides positive ways to work through common ADHD symptomatic behaviors
- Jessica McCabe's podcast How to ADHD is an upbeat, often funny look at traversing life with ADHD
- Laura MacNiven's workbook May We Have Your Attention Please? is a lighter, graphically appealing approach to understanding your own ADHD better
I am actively working on the written responses to your questions in the first survey and promise to get that document to you as soon as I can. Thank you for your patience.
Best wishes,
Melissa
