New to forum

First I have to say that I just found this forum and I've been crying since reading your trials and generous offers of support.  I hate to say it, but it's nice to know I'm not the only one going through this!

Hi bhdeyoung

hi and welcome, I have been married to my ADHD spouse for 22yrs and I may have a few insights to help you. It is okay to know the truth because it helps us. For instance, you need to see your husband's college record-if for the last 4 yrs he has been telling you that he only has 2 yrs left. Marriage is a partnership and you know in your heart that there is something not right about that. Perhaps your mom is not the 'big' problem but that she is bringing up topics that you yourself do not want to face, especially if you go home and argue with your husband about them. I used to not face reality and I became a very angry person that I didn't like anymore. Things can not work without the truth no matter how painful they are. Is he on medication and have you had ADHD counseling together? I am worried for you working 3 jobs and handling it all by yourself. I hope I have helped a little.

hugs and prayers for you,

justmetoo
