So, my brother passed away 2 months ago, and I am still dealing with that and all that fell on me as next of kin. His Bank Accounts, Surrogate Courts in two states and it is a lot. I am also dealing with my mother who has Alzheimer's and is in a nursing home in which I take care of her. On top of all that I have deal with my wife and her ADHD.
She takes medication for it and to me it does nothing for her when she is taking medication while drinking alcohol daily. Not a drunk but getting close to being an alcoholic when you drink daily. Never during the day, but always after she gets off work until she falls asleep on the couch.
I raised her three children 3,5,7 years of age who are now grown adults. I have a daughter of my own and I raised her to and won custody of her when she started HS. So, she only lived with us for three years. My daughter is ADHD; my wife daughters are ADHD also. So, imagine living in a house where all these ADHD personalities are clashing. That is a little of the back story, so you understand where I am going with this.
My wife daughter is and always has been very disrespectful to me especially since she graduated H.S 9 yrs ago. Presently I don't deal with her at all once she told me she was grown. I already had one encounter with her when I had to tell her to leave my house and she was no longer welcome. That should tell you where the relationship is with us.
For the last 9yrs this girl has moved from MD to VA to TX, back to VA. She smokes weed, and drinks and has no job and currently has once child and is pregnant again. My wife asked me to let her stay in my house where I pay all the bills. I waited two days before I responded. My answer was no because we cannot coexist with each other. Instead, I presented a structured plan to my wife of how her daughter can help herself help herself. Long story short, my wife did like my answer bought a ticket and the girl showed up in my house with her child. This blew up something awful as you can imagine. My wife has always held her daughters' hand and never allowed her to be independent. Instead of respecting my house in which I pay all the bills you allow your disrespectful daughter to come and stay.
Now mind you. I did state I have no problem with her visiting, but she absolutely cannot stay in my house. I have so such I am dealing with I feel disrespected by wife, my space is being violated, and I feel uncomfortable in my own home now. I printed out divorce papers, but I have too much to let go that I am not willing to share because I worked for that with nobody else's help. But i am at my last straw if she doesn't make this young adult leave my house by the end of the week. Everywhere her daughter goes she creates chaos and drama. Her brother, grandmother and Aunt stop dealing with her because her personality and the way she moves and all the chaos she brings with her. I am just venting but I believe I am done with this marriage.
