October is ADHD Awareness Month, which means there are some excellent programs going on that can get you more information about ADHD and introduce you to some of the other experts in the field.

Melissa will present a CE event for GoodTherapy.org at 9 a.m. PDT on October 11, titled Tools to Help Couples Impacted by ADHD Thrive. It is available free with 1.5 CE credits for all GoodTherapy.org members. For details, or to register, please click here.

Are you in an ADHD relationship and feel as if there is no clear path out of your anger? Do you have specific ADHD questions? Register for the Virtual ADHD Conference, and join Melissa and Dr. Hallowell to have your questions answered and learn more about ADHD!

Is ADHD affecting your marriage? It would be rare if it didn't, but traditional marriage counseling often isn't very helpful unless ADHD is diagnosed and treated.

Great news! The ADHD Effect on Marriage has been released in Chinese (in addition to Dutch). We are delighted to offer this version for people who are more comfortable reading in Chinese. And we love the Asian adaptation of the book cover. To purchase this version, or for more information, please visit Yuan-Liou Publishing Co., Ltd.

This past Sunday, The New York Times ran an opinion piece by L. Alan Sroufe called Ritalin Gone Wrong. Dr. Hallowell offers a much different point of view, one based on his strength-based, whole-person approach to treating ADHD.

ADDA has highlighted six steps from the book, The ADHD Effect on Marriage, on how to rebuild your partnership dynamic. To read the post, please go here.
