It is an app that has repeatable to-do lists for household tasks, can be separated into 'morning', 'afternoon', and 'evening' task lists that you can edit/personalise - and they reset each day so you never have to get overwhelmed writing daily to-do lists for the everyday routines. My husband and I have been separated for about 4 months now.  I am feeling so hopeless after 12 years of marriage.  We have struggled most of those years.  Since our separation, I have found information on adult ADHD and feel as though he could be a poster child for it.  I have asked him to make an appointment for an evaluation, which he did for next month.  I continue to feel disappointment and hopelessness as I continue to try to trust his word and feel let down each time.  He thinks that I only focus on the things he does wrong.  I just feel like I've ridden a roller coaster for 12 yrs

I am not new to this website but new to posting.  My significant other is living with just diagnosed ADD.  He has believed for some time that he has been living with ADD but the diagnosis has helped him in many ways, and overall he is responding well to treatment.  For me though the diagnosis has brought up a lot of family of origin issues.  Mainly that my brother is also living with diagnosed ADHD and a lot of the chaos in my relationship mirrors the chaos of my childhood much of it stemming from one child with ADD and the other (me) not living with it.  While I am finding a lot of resou

I am a woman that has been diagnosed with ADD for about 6 years now. I have come a long way and I am being treated with a ritalin like medication that has changed my life. I have been taking the medication for about 2 months now and do not suffer any side effects.

Hi, I am so appreciative of everyone's comments and insight here, have been reading through many posts. I think it may be the only thing to prevent me from feeling more used than I already do right now. But must say that it is the last place I thought would find myself after a 3 month relationship. (with a man having ADD).

So many of us are trying to find a way through the chaos of ADD and ADHD. I have a daughter in her late 20's diagnosed at age 6 and a husband undiagnosed. When I was told by a professional that my daughter would endure a series of dreadful events due to the fact that she was ADD, I really did not understand why they were telling me about all the negative behaviors that go along with it. I'm an optimist!!

I've been reading a lot of posts in all the different sections and wanted to offer to all of you some thoughts, observations, and advice I've had since being diagnosed.

I've been posting on this forum for a long time, and many of you have been very kind to me. I hate to keep beating my head against this wall without result. 

Now I feel like a rat in a maze, everywhere I turn I find a brick wall.

The following is a list of common reasons why couples get divorced. I am frustrated to say upon in depth research that my untreated ADD were behind each that happened unfortunately. Of the ones I have identified, I was responsible for the breakup. I left while in a down period and some 1 + year later I still think about what could have been. My untreated ADD hurt my life for 40+ years and I did not know how until a few months ago...but we must move on.

So, I had a long week last week.  At work, we had a week long review which meant long hours.  After I get home, at 9pm, my husband tells me that he may be getting fired.  And he is SHOCKED!  *sigh*  Let me start off with saying, he works for his parents business.  So, he was performing so poorly for such a long time, even his father is having a hard time employing him (though his father, or any family member, is not his direct manager).  He has been performing poorly for about 2 years, and we've talked about it, I've warned him that he wasn't following through on his projects and that he
