My husband and ADHD, although not yet diagnosed...

Hi, I have been married to my husband for 11 years now and he has been in the navy almost 20 years, soon to retire.  We have two kids, a daughter who is 6 and a son who is almost 11.  He also has ADHD.  Well, my husband hasn't been diagnosed with ADHD because he is in the navy and he can't take any meds while in the navy.  I just recently realized that he might have it.  My son was dx when he was in kindergarten.  My son has anger problems and tantrums all the time, and is very forgetful.  He just started middle school (6th grade) and is having a hard time turning in work, doing homework,

AD/HD at work

Forum:
Ok - how do you handle your AD/HD at work? I am a Systems Engineer consultant which has it's ups and downs. It is incredibly difficult to see a project through to the end. Let's just say that I don't, ever. I need to though. Maybe I do, but in that particular situation I find it hard to use the force and hyperfocus like I can at other times. On a related note - if your job interferes with your mind, do you move on? Can you make AD/HD work with any job?? I usually feel mismatched.

Feel Like My Loving Husband Has Gone AWOL

My husband and I have been married for 6 and 1/2 years. It has been rocky at times, and I also have anxiety issues which I have been successfully treating with cognitive behavioral therapy. My husband was diagnosed with ADHD as a child and admits to having it, but I don't think he is really wrapping his head around how his ADHD affects me.
